CIZO has a wide range of pan feeders for broilers.

Mod. HILO and PRO-1 can turn into a lower plate (edge  heigh 5 cm.) for the weaning  phase of the chicks, thus avoiding stress due to the difficulty of finding the food, and into an upper plate (edge heigh 9 cm. from the bottom) for the phase of growth and fattening, avoiding wastage of feed on the litter. No need for any manual intervention on the feeder  to get everything,  it is sufficient to use the relative winching system. For this peculiarity these pans will give a great contribution to the profitability of livestock production.

Mod. F/1 and V/1 are designed in such a way as to adapt the feed level in the pan depending on the age of the birds. In the first phase of breeding, it is necessary to facilitate the feeding of birds, increasing the level of product in the pan. With these pans, you can do it, avoiding the operator’s manual intervention on each feeder, simply resting them on the litter through the winching system of the complete feeding line. Just as easily, when the weaning phase is completed, raising the line, the food level in the pan returns to a preset minimum quantity. In this way, birds always have fresh feed and in limited quantity, avoiding any waste. The operator also, if appropriate, can intervene manually on each feeder to change the minimum level of food in it.

Mod. P/1 is designed exclusively for commercial layers, in such a way as to adapt the feed level in the pan to facilitate feeding of birds. The feeder for roosters is designed in such a way as to allow the birds to have a wide and easy access to the feed, while maintaining a solid and robust structure, able to contain the force of the animals.
The pan is attached to the line pipe by means of specific metal clips eliminating any oscillations that might affect the uniformity of the feed distribution.

The proposed system is the one of the Dutch VDL company of proven effectiveness and reliability.

The plant consists of:

• hoppers, available in several versions in order  to meet different needs of breeding and having variable flow rates from 180 to 400 liters
• drive unit available both raisable and on support legs, with different powers and speeds (12, 18 and 36 m./min.)
• corners at 90° or 135° in epoxy powder painted steel  complete with cast iron wheels and self-lubricating bearing
• rising or descending corners to for overcoming eventual differences in level in the house
• channels of high quality galvanized steel with edge purposely designed to prevent feed waste
• feed transport chain in hardened steel, high strength

Matrix is an innovative trough system, for feeding roosters. The system allows you to reduce stress in birds because they all have simultaneous access to the feed and thus have more time to enjoy the meal.
The system also allows to have more space available in the house compared to traditional pan systems because it can be installed along the side walls.
The special shape of channels and the special control system allow to dose in a precise manner and without waste the daily ration of feed without the need to raise the feeder during the filling phase. During this phase in fact channels are closed by the dosing tube and only after filling they are lowered to allow access to the birds.
This system allows to achieve more satisfactory results in terms of feed conversion and animal uniformity compared to traditional pan feeding systems.
